Gift Uncommon is operated by Katapal, Inc. By purchasing or using a Gift Uncommon gift card, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
General terms and conditions
All sales are final. Gift Uncommon gift cards are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
Each Gift Uncommon gift card may be spent at any participating merchant. Gift cards that are indicated as being for one specific community may only be spent at a participating merchant classified by Gift Uncommon as being in that community.
To spend a Gift Uncommon gift card, whether the gift card was issued as a physical card or as a virtual electronic gift card, the gift card holder must bring the gift card in person to a participating merchant and present the gift card as payment. Gift Uncommon gift cards may not be used to pay for purchases online or over the phone unless explicitly stated otherwise in the merchant’s listing.
The merchant will process the Gift Uncommon gift card and credit up to the full face value of the gift card towards the gift card holder’s purchase.
If the gift card is a physical gift card: the merchant will return the card to the card bearer if it has a remaining non-zero balance after the purchase. If card’s value is exhausted, the merchant will collect and retain the gift card.
The list of currently active participating merchants is available at http://www.giftuncommon.co. The list of participating merchants is subject to change at any time without notice. Gift Uncommon makes no assurance or guarantee that a participating merchant appearing on the site at any given time will remain a participating merchant at some future time.
Each Gift Uncommon gift card may have a community indicated on the card. Such cards are called community-specific cards. Each community-specific card may be spent only at a participating merchant that is classified as being in the community indicated on the card.
The classification of merchants into communities is available at http://www.giftuncommon.co. The choice of classification of merchants into communities is at the sole discretion of Gift Uncommon. The classification of merchants into communities is subject to change at any time without notice.
Restrictions and exclusions
Gift Uncommon gift cards may not be used to pay for tips or gratuities.
Gift Uncommon gift cards are not for resale, and are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash except as required by law, and will not be replaced if lost, stolen, or damaged.
Gift Uncommon gift cards may not be used to pay for purchases online or over the phone unless explicitly stated otherwise in the merchant’s listing.
Expiration and fees
Gift Uncommon cards have no expiration date and have no fees.
